During a public address to the state on Wednesday, Governor Mike DeWine announced that on June 2nd, the Ohio Department of Health will be lifting all public health orders. DeWine said that every individual will still make their own decision about wearing a mask, as well as social distancing. DeWine also stated that businesses will be in control of if they will require masks and social distancing standards. The only part of the state that will not have the pandemic health orders lifted is those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. DeWine also called on businesses throughout the state to offer incentives to get as many people as possible to become vaccinated.
