Governor Mike DeWine reissued the states mask order during his press conference Wednesday, and it included three new provisions to the order. The first provision added was that businesses are responsible for posting a mask wearing sign at every public entrance.  The second is that businesses must  make sure that all customers and employees are actually wearing their masks, and the third provision is the creation of a Retail Compliance Unit, which will be responsible for ensuring businesses are enforcing the mask mandates. Violations of the mandate could potentially lead a business to be forced to close for up to 24 hours. The governor also said that he will reevaluate whether restaurants, bars and gyms can remain open next Thursday.
