The Green Local School District’s board of education has approved a new contract for the district’s teachers. The three-year deal will go into effect on July 1st and include a two and a half percent salary increase in year one, along with two and a quarter percent increases in years two and three. According to Superintendent Dean Frank, the new contract also includes two additional professional development days for staff members, due to new training requirements implemented by the state.
