The Green Local School District will be asking voters next month to approve a renewal levy.  The district’s 5.7-mill emergency operating levy, which brings in $850,000 annually, was originally approved in 2007 and is set to expire at the end of this year.  The district uses the money collected from the levy to help fund its day-to-day operations.  The levy request will be Wayne County’s only school-related issue on the November 3rd ballot.
