Wayne County’s Habitat for Humanity’s annual Blues & BBQ fundraiser will be taking later today. Of course the coronavirus means that this year’s event will have a different look than in year’s past. Traditionally the event has been held at TJ’s Restaurant, but this year it will be at the Habitat Restore, on Akron Road. This year’s event will also be held as a drive-thru, with patrons able to take their to-go containers home or eat in their vehicle while listening to live jazz music in the Restore parking lot. Organizers say there will also be a few tables for eating, although seating will be limited. Hours will be 4:30 to 7:30pm.
