Roughly half a million dollars has been set aside by Wayne County officials to fund a communications tower project in Fredericksburg. County commissioners recently transferred the money from the COVID Fiscal Recovery Fund to the county’s general fund. The tower will help to improve the strength of notification signals for emergencies in and around the Fredericksburg area.
