One person is dead, and another seriously injured, following a head-on collision yesterday afternoon on State Route 3. The crash took place in Wayne County’s Canaan Township, at around 4:30pm, just north of Pleasant Home Road. According to the Highway Patrol, 33-year old Damon Hart, of Chippewa Lake, was southbound on “3” when his vehicle went left of center and struck a northbound car driven by 31-year old Raven Park, of Seville. Park was pronounced dead at the scene, while Hart was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
