A contested adjudication hearing, which is the juvenile court equivalent of a trial, will take place next month for the 13-year old accused of helping two others beat a pair of homeless men in downtown Wooster.  The beatings, which involved rocks and baseball bats, took place on the morning of July 24th, while the two men slept outside of a church.  The boy will remain at a juvenile attention center until the hearing, set for October 21st.  The 16 & 18-year olds allegedly involved in the beatings will be back in court on October 1st for their respective pretrial hearings.
