The Wooster Post of the Highway Patrol will be collecting donations this weekend for local food banks. The patrol’s “ Can the Cruiser” food collection event will take place Saturday, from 9am-1pm. Donations will be accepted at two different locations, The Aldi at the north end of Wooster and Troyer’s Country Market, near Berlin. Suggested donations include flour, sugar, canned goods, boxed meals, and either canned milk or formula. For folks unable to make it out on Saturday, items can also be dropped off anytime at the patrol’s post on Dover Road.
