A staff member at Hiland High School has been placed on administrative leave following a report of what the district is calling alleged inappropriate communication with a pair of former students.  Superintendent Erik Beun says the district is taking the allegations very seriously and is already conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.  The staff member will remain on paid administrative leave, pending the outcome of the district’s investigation.  In the meantime, the staff member will not be allowed on school property, or permitted to have any interaction with any of the district’s students.
