Not quite the record they were hoping for but good attendance at the Holmes County Fair last week. The fair said that severe storms on Saturday, including a tornado warning probably kept them from beating last year’s attendance mark. The fair did set an all-time daily record when nearly 8,000 people showed up on Wednesday. Overall attendance was just over 38,000 people, approximately 15-hundred folks behind last year’s record.’
