The Holmes County Public Library has found a new way to get books and other materials to its patrons. The library is now taking orders online and by phone. Once the items are ready, staff members contact patrons to set up a time to pick them up at a designated spot in the library’s parking lot. Patrons with more than $5 in fines will need to settle their accounts before they can take advantage of the new service, which was unveiled on Monday. Fines can be paid by either mailing in a check, or online through PayPal.
