Holmes County Commissioners accepted a bid for the intersection project near Hiland High School. The Commissioners accepted a bid of just over $1.9 million from Eclipse out of Chagrin Falls for the project that will see the intersection of County Road 77/Township Road 367 and State Route 39 redone, with new traffic signals, and storm sewers and new lighting. The project is expected to begin in April, and be finished in October. Berlin Township will pay $150,000 of the county’s portion of the project, with the rest coming from an ODOT grant.
