The Holmes County Commissioners agreed with two companies on bids for the water tower project that will take place near the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and Holmes County Home. During their meeting Monday, Commissioners agreed to accept the bid from Mid-Atlantic Storage to build the water tower itself, with the price tag of almost $167,000. Commissioners accepted the bid from BK Layer to build the water lines for the water tower at a cost of nearly $240,000. Both of the bids were approved and recommended by Holmes County Engineer Chris Young.
