In an effort to keep drugs and other contraband out, a small building that will house a full body scanner is going to be constructed just outside the Holmes County Jail.  County Commissioners have approved a resolution to accept the capital budget request for the construction of the building and the installation of the scanner.  The project is expected to cost roughly $250,000, but the county’s planning commission has already applied for a grant that would at least cover 50% of the scanner’s cost.
