Holmes County commissioners were given an update this week by the designers and engineers working on the lighting project at the Holmes County Courthouse. The project is currently in the conceptual design phase, but within the next couple of weeks the engineers are expected to provide the county with an actual plan. The designers say they want to blend art and science to illuminate the clock tower and courthouse, which was renovated two years ago. The project is expected to get underway soon, although an exact timeline is still up in the air.
