Holmes County Commissioners are seeking help from state lawmakers, in an effort to get more people to work at the polls during elections.  State Senator Andrew Brenner and State Representative Darrell Kick were in Millersburg on Monday to talk with commissioners about the issue.  Commissioners told the lawmakers the poll working experience needs to be incentivized to get more young people involved, while Holmes County’s Board of Elections Director said she’d like to see the pay rate for poll workers increase to at least the state minimum wage of $10.10 an hour.
