Holmes County continues to lag behind the rest of the state when it comes to residents being vaccinated against COVID. According to the latest numbers form the Ohio Department of Health, only 14% of residents in Holmes County have had one dose of the vaccine, while 13% are fully vaccinated. Conversely Wayne County has almost 30% fully vaccinate with 34% having received one dose. Ashland County has seen 25% become fully vaccinated with 31% having received one dose. Medina County has seen 44% of its residents become fully vaccinated while 50% have received at least one dose.
