The 100th edition of the Holmes County Fair got underway Monday with plenty of pomp and circumstance. Yesterday’s events included a 100th anniversary celebration, which featured comments from state auditor Keith Faber. Congressman Max Miller and Senator Sherrod Brown were also on hand. The 100th anniversary celebration also included a presentation of the fair’s former kings and queens, along with recognition of former junior and senior fair board members.
