Holmes County fire claims the lives of four family pets

A mobile home fire over the weekend in Holmes County claimed the lives of four family pets.  The fire took place Saturday at a home on Township Road 215, south of Nashville.  Killed in the blaze were three dogs and a rabbit.  Fire officials say the home is considered to be a total loss, and while it has been determined that the fire began in the home’s kitchen, the exact cause remains under investigation.
