The Holmes County Historical Society has been given a $20,000 grant from the Ohio Development Agency. The grant was awarded based on the society’s lost tourism revenue due to COVID. According to the historical society’s director, tourism revenue in 2020 was nearly 50% lower than it was in 2019. With the exception of a computer upgrade, the society says it has no immediate plans for the money.
