The Holmes County Humane Society will soon have a new home. The nonprofit organization, which serves as an animal shelter and adoption clinic, is moving from its Richland Township facility near Glenmont to the former Fire & Ice Restaurant on County Road 192, south of Fredericksburg. The society’s board members believe the new building is in a much more convenient location. The goal is to make the move within the next few weeks, although the exact opening date for the new facility is still up in the air.
