Holmes County is moving forward with roughly $3 million worth of paving projects. A third of the money will go toward repaving nine and a half miles of roadway on County Roads 150 and 600, while the remainder of the funds will cover 15 miles of paving on six other county roads. The county will use money generated from its quarter percent sales tax to pay for the paving work, which could begin as soon as next month.
