A Holmes County nursing home was recently named one of the best for long term care. U.S. News named Walnut Hills in Walnut Creek one of the best for long term care for 2020-21. U.S. News researched over 13,000 facilities in the country, and just over 1,100 were given a high-performing ranking, including Walnut Hills. The rankings were based on data based on staffing, vaccinations and success in preventing emergency room visits. One of the main factors that gave Walnut Hills the high ranking was time spent with residents, where on average, the long-term staff spend just over four hours a day with residents.
