Officials in Holmes County welcomed an ambassador from the Census Bureau Thursday in preparation for next year’s Census. The Census, which happens every ten years, will help figure out how much local communities will receive in federal funding for various projects. The census will also have a big impact on local school’s libraries and other various organizations that rely on funding that comes from the federal government. Holmes County officials had their meeting with a specialist from the Philadelphia Regional Census Center to help gather information on next year’s Census.
