With the Christmas season coming to an end, the Holmes Soil & Water Conversation District is encouraging those looking to discard their natural Christmas tree to “upcycle” it this year. The organization has partnered with area Cub Scouts to offer a tree recycling program. Starting today through January 12th, trees can be dropped off in the rear parking lot of the Holmes Soil & Water Conservation District office on West Clinton St. in Millersburg. By “upcycling” your tree, the two organizations will turn the trees into usable brush piles for wildlife at the Holmes County Landfill.
