Holmes & Wayne counties rank top 5 “most generous”

In a recent study done to find the most generous counties in Ohio, both Holmes and Wayne counties rank in the top five. According to SmartAsset, a financial tech company that looked at which counties gave the most in charitable donations; Holmes County ranked first out of Ohio’s 88 counties, while Wayne County ranked fourth. On average, residents of Holmes County donate 2% of their income annually, while Wayne County residents donate 1%.
