HSWD accepting applications for cost share incentive program

Holmes County’s soil and water conservation district is now accepting applications for its cover crop cost share incentive program.  Fields will be ranked using management-based criteria and qualifying acreage will earn between $12 and $20 per acre, with participants receiving the cost share on a maximum of 200 acres.  Farmers who would like more information can contact the soil and water district by phone or email.  The deadline to submit an application is July 9^th.
