Nearly 500 people gathered on Thursday in Wayne County to raise money and awareness for the American Heart Association. The crowd participated in the Wayne Heart Walk at Oak Hill Park in Wooster with several walking teams taking part in the event. Over $140,000 has been raised, and the local fundraising goal is $175,000, with donations still being accepted through October 31st.
