An Indiana man has pleaded not guilty in Wayne County Common Pleas Court to felony escape charges stemming from an incident earlier this year. Authorities say 33-year old Ali El-Khatib fled from an I-71 rest stop back in April, during a prisoner transport. El-Khatib entered his plea during an arraignment hearing on Monday. He remains in the Wayne County Jail, with bond set at $5,000.
