Following the Oakland Athletic’s walk off win against the Cleveland Indians on Friday night, the Tribe were able to bounce back against the A’s and win 3-2 in Oakland on Saturday. The Athletic’s scored first early with a solo homerun by designated hitter Mitch Moreland in the bottom of the 1st, taking a 1-0 lead. The Indians were able to score two runs in the 5th inning, due to a Cesar Hernandez one run RBI-double and a sacrifice fly by shortstop Ahmed Rosario, allowing the Tribe to take a 2-1 lead through five innings. The Tribe extended their lead to 3-1 with a solo homerun by Franmil Reyes in the 8th inning, his 15th of the season. Indians pitcher Cal Quantrill received his 2nd win of the season, going 5 full innings, striking out 5 batters and allowing only 4 hits and 1 earned run. The Tribe will conclude a 3-game road series in Oakland against the Athletics on Sunday, with first pitch set for 4:07 p.m.
