The Cleveland Indians fell to the Minnesota Twins for the second consecutive day on Tuesday night by a final score of 3-0. The game was scoreless for the first four innings, but the Twins broke the tie in the top of the 5th inning with an RBI single by shortstop Andrelton Simmons, making the score 1-0. The Twins continued to score in the 7th inning with a solo homerun by outfielder Brent Rooker, extending the lead to 2-0. The final run of the game for the Twins came by designated hitter Luis Arraez who hit an RBI triple in the top of the 9th inning, winning the game by a score of 3-0. Indians starting pitcher Aaron Civale made his first start for the ball club since an injury to his finger he suffered in June. Civale was the losing pitcher tonight, going 4.2 innings pitched while striking out 6 batters and allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run in 78 pitches. The Indians will be back in action on Wednesday when they take on the Twins once again at home with first pitch set for 6:10 p.m.
