Indians third baseman Jose Rameriez has been named the American League Player of the Month for the month of September. Rameirez batted .366 (30-for-82) with 18 runs scored, nine doubles, 10 home runs, 24 RBI, 11 walks and a .841 slugging percentage across 23 games. On his 28th birthday on September 17th, went 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs, four RBI and two runs scored. Became the sixth player in team history to post a multi-homer game on his birthday,
and the fifth to record three-or-more extra-base hits on his birthday.
