For the second time this year the Indians were on the bad end of a no-hitter.

Wade Miley threw the first no-no of his career, as the Cincinnati Reds downed the Indians 3-0. Miley worked the full nine innings, throwing 114 pitches and had 8 strikeouts. Zach Plesac had a great outing in a pitching duel, as he worked eight innings, giving up just three hits, with seven strikeouts. The Tribe bullpen let them down in the 9th, as Emmanuel Clase allowed three runs, 2 earned, to give the Reds the lead. Miley made the no-hitter stand with a 1-2-3- ninth inning.

The Indians and Reds will play game two of the three game set on Saturday with a 6:10 start time.
