In Wayne County’s Franklin Township, the intersection of Moreland and Fredericksburg roads will be closing next week for a project that will make the intersection safer.  The intersection will be closed for a total of 21 days, beginning next Monday.  According to the Wayne County Engineer’s Office, the project will involve lowering a small hill, which will improve visibility for east and westbound drivers stopping at the intersection.  The estimated $50,000 project is part of a larger plan to repave Fredericksburg Road later this year.
