Jose Ramirez provided the offense, while the Indians pitching stood tall again as they downed the Royals 4-2.

The Indians offense was dormant for much of the game against Jacob Junis, but once he left the game Ramirez would take advantage. The Tribe third basement hit a two run homer in the 6th to put the Indians ahead 2-1. The Royals tied the game at 2 in the seventh, but Ramírez came through again in the 8th with another two run homer to put the Indians back on top to stay.

Shane Bieber worked 6.1 innings, giving up 2 earned runs on three hits, and had 12 strikeouts but got the no decision. Emmanuel Clase got the win after working a scoreless 8th inning, and Nick Wittgren picked up the save.

The Indians have Thursday off before starting a three game weekend series with Detroit.
