A Judge in Ashland County is refusing to allow a former Hillsdale art teacher to plead guilty to voyeurism charges, at least for the time being.  29-year old Robert Altenburger appeared in court Tuesday for an arraignment hearing and was prepared to plead guilty to five separate counts, but the judge refused on the grounds that he first wanted to speak with prosecutors to find out why Altenburger had been charged with misdemeanors instead of felonies. Altenburger’s next hearing will take place December 9th.
