Jury selection is getting underway today in Summit County, in the retrial of Erica Stefanko,  the 41-year old Rittman woman charged with murder for the role she played in the death of a 25-year old pizza deliver driver more than a decade ago.  Stafanko is accused of making a bogus pizza delivery call that lured Ashley Biggs to a remote location where she was killed by Chad Cobb, Stanfanko’s husband at the time, who is now serving a life sentence for the 2012 murder.  Stefanko was also sentenced to life in prison in November of 2020, but her conviction was overturned in 2022 due to a video that was played in court.  Opening statements are expected tomorrow in Stefanko’s retrial, which is anticipated to last up to three weeks.
