The West Holmes Athletic Department is proud to announce the appointment of Keaton Leppla as head varsity football coach. With an impressive background in coaching and a commitment to student-athlete development, Coach Leppla brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our football program.
A 2013 graduate of West Holmes, Leppla was a Team Captain of the 2012 team that reached the regional final. He was named first team All OCC three times and was named Special Mention All-Ohio in his senior year for the Knights. Leppla continued his career playing football at Ohio Wesleyan University where he started 33 games at linebacker and was a Team Captain his Senior Year.
From 2017 to 2019 Leppla served as the linebacker and running back coach at Danville High School, helping the 2017 team reach the state final four. For the past three seasons, he’s coached at Wooster High School as the defensive coordinator and associate head coach.
As the new head football coach, Coach Leppla will oversee all aspects of the football program. His leadership promises to inspire athletes, unite supporters, and foster a culture of excellence and community engagement.
