A levy committee for the Chippewa Local School District is trying to get the word out about two levies that will appear on next month’s primary ballot. One is a renewal levy for general operations that currently accounts for about 15% of the district’s annual budget. The other is a .5-mill permanent improvement levy that would generate roughly $140,000 annually for the district in new money.
