LifeCare Hospice has launched a new capital campaign in the hopes of raising $2.5 million. The nonprofit is repurposing a building adjacent to its campus on Akron Road into the Center for Supportive Care. The new center would provide more individual as well as group counseling rooms for the Pathway of Hope program. The center would also have a larger gathering space for training and seminars for the community and volunteers, and would house office space, and a transportation hub for the Mobile Care unit, with an expansion of that service.
