A local author has written a book about the 50th anniversary reunion of the Battle of Gettysburg. The title of John L. Hopkins’s book is “The World Will Never See the Like: The Gettysburg Reunion of 1913.” The Wooster author says the reunion was the largest gathering of Union and Confederate troops ever held, as more than 50,000 former soldiers were on hand. The book is available now in hardcover, e-book and audio book formats, and can be purchased at select independent bookstores or on Amazon.
