Governor Mike DeWine updated the state’s Public Health Advisory System during his press conference on Thursday, with more counties going into the red. Locally, every county remained in the level three red category for the spread of COVID, all with high instance of spread. All told 68 of the state’s 88 counties are in the level three red category, and every county in the state still seeing a high instance of spread of COVID-19. Two counties, Franklin and Tuscarawas, are now on the watch list, which means they are close to being added to the highest level in the advisory system, meaning the counties would be shut down with protocols in place to have people only leaving home for essential supplies.
