As the coronavirus pandemic continues, local courts continue to figure out ways to deal with the virus while still trying to reopen. Courts in Wayne, Holmes, and Ashland Counties continue to limit the amount of people allowed in the building at one time. Wayne County Municipal Court is requiring members of the public to check in at a tent outside the court before being allowed to enter, with groups of ten allowed in. Stair cases have been made one way, with tape and signs directing people to where they need to go inside the court. Video conferencing continues to be a helpful tool to local courts, with courts saying that the video conferencing may continue even after the pandemic subsides.
