Local health departments following CDC guidelines to reduce quarantine time

The health departments in both Wayne and Holmes Counties have officially adopted the new quarantine guidelines put in place last week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The modified COVID guidelines reduce the quarantine length of time from 14 days to 10 days for anyone without symptoms.  CDC officials say the shorter time period is intended to encourage more people to self quarantine.
