Several area school districts will benefit from the roughly $47 million that the state is handing out through its K-12 School Safety Grant Program.  Northwestern Local will receive $150,000, by far the largest amount among area districts, while Dalton Local, Orrville and Wooster City Schools have all been awarded $50,000 grants.  Wooster, Orrville and Northwestern officials say they’ll use their share of the money to upgrade their camera surveillance systems.  Dalton Local, meanwhile, says it will use its share of the funds to install a key fob system for its building’s doors.
