For Cleveland (now 39-40), the offense got started in the 3rd when Jose hit the grand-slam (387 ft) to score Bo Naylor, Steven Kwan and Amed Rosario. Another long ball would score two more in the 5th, after Josh Bell homered to right center (464 ft) with Ramirez on base. Next up, the 6th inning would see a Bo Naylor homer to center (417 ft) with Myles Straw on base, followed by a Rosario triple to score Kwan, Josh Naylor doubling to right to score Rosario, a Josh Bell double scoring Josh Naylor and Ramirez, and a final run that inning earned by Will Brennan using a sac ground-out to score Bell. Finally the Cleveland run parade would wrap up in the 7th with a Ramirez double to score Bo Naylor. Starter Logan Allen went only 3 1/3 innings for Cleveland, allowing 0 runs on 3 hits with 5 K’s while allowing 2 walks. The win went to Nick Sandlin in relief for going 1 1/3 innings with 2 k’s while allowing no walks and 0 runs on 0 hits. For K.C (now 22-58), the lone run came in the 7th inning after a Fermin single scored Waters. The loss went to starter Austin Cox after going 3 1/3 innings and allowing 4 runs on 4 hits with 2 K’s and 4 walks allowed.
