The downtown revitalization plan for the village of Loudonville was introduced this week. Several concepts were unveiled. Things like placing arched “Welcome to Historic Downtown Loudonville” signs over Main Street at both ends of downtown. The possibility of streamlining West Main Street, including narrowing the traffic lanes; creating space for trees and other plantings at the street-edge of sidewalks. Converting some alleyways into pedestrian walkways with landscaping and useable outdoor spaces. The plan also will be outlined on six large posters that will be placed across downtown Loudonville in the coming week. People are encouraged to review the posters and provide feedback through the QR codes that are on each one.
