A Massillon man is facing a long list of charges after twice ramming his pickup truck into a Wayne County deputy’s cruiser and then leading authorities on a high speed chase.  The chase began Monday night at around 9:30pm, at a gas station in Dalton, and eventually ended near Massillon when 43-year old Walter Ferryman crashed into a ditch.  The deputy says Ferryman, along with a female passenger who is also facing criminal charges, was seen throwing small baggies of suspected drugs out the windows of the truck during the chase.  Once taken into custody, Ferryman became unresponsive and had to be revived with Narcan and taken to the hospital.  Authorities believe he ingested an unknown drug at some point during the chase.
