Man dies after being struck by truck on Route 3

A Perrysville man was killed this week in Holmes County when he was struck by a pickup truck while lying down in the middle of the road.  According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place Tuesday night, just after 8:30pm, on State Route 3, north of Loudonville.  33-year old Guy Copley was reportedly laying in the southbound lane of “3” when he was hit by the truck, driven by a 21-year old from Lakeville.  Copley was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver told deputies he never saw Copley due to the lights of an oncoming northbound vehicle.
